How your data is handled
This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to the information you enter in the free signature generator.
What you type stays with you
The name, contact details, and company information you type are kept only in the browser tab you have open. They are not sent to us and they are not saved to an account. Refreshing or closing the tab clears them. Your browser may offer its own autofill suggestions; that is a feature of your browser, not something we store.
Images you link to
We don’t host images. Your logo, photo, or banner stays at the address you give us; nothing is uploaded. Typing an address does nothing by itself. When you select "Apply image", your browser loads the image from that address to check it. After you send an email, each recipient’s email app loads the image from the same address, and the site that hosts it can see the usual visit details, such as the time and the visitor’s IP address — as with any image on the web. Use a permanent, public address. Avoid temporary links, links that need sign-in, and links that contain secret keys.
Copying and downloading
Your signature, its plain-text version, and its preview images are created in your browser when you ask for them. Once you paste the signature into your email app, your email provider handles it under its own terms.
Visits to this site
We don’t use analytics or advertising trackers. Like any website, the company that hosts this site may keep standard visit logs — such as the time, the page requested, and the IP address — to keep the service running and secure.
Your language choice
If you choose a language, we remember it with a cookie that contains only the language code and lasts one year.
Your part
Make sure you have the right to use the text and images you add. Email apps display signatures differently, so send yourself a test email before you start using yours.
